Trivial Pursuit

I am bitten, by a dog,

by a man, and I pursue him,

trivially, scrabbling for a chance

to tell him that I’m sorry.

Why? The instant replay:

I bit him harder, and first,

monopolized everything

by stealing first his top hat

and then his heart.

Games prove an inspiration yet again. Seems a theme for me, this month. Take the muse in any form, eh?
